We have redesigned this popular study day to be delivered virtually.
Our overall objective is to build upon foundation level communication skills for dealing with people approaching the end of life or living with life-limiting conditions. During the session we will consider:
- Listening and questioning skills - good practice tips and hints
- Blocking behaviours - what stops a conversation?
- Practical sessions - rehearsals
- Building resilience - looking for ourselves.
There will be the opportunity to demonstrate, practise and give/receive feedback in a safe learning environment.
This course is suitable for those working in health and social care settings, who have completed a foundation level training such as Sage & Thyme Communication Skills/e-ELCA modules etc.
