We have  redesigned this popular study day to be delivered virtually.

Our overall objective is to build upon foundation level communication skills for dealing with people approaching the end of life or living with life-limiting conditions. During the session we will consider:

  • Listening and questioning skills - good practice tips and hints
  • Blocking behaviours - what stops a conversation?
  • Practical sessions - rehearsals
  • Building resilience - looking for ourselves.

There will be the opportunity to demonstrate, practise and give/receive feedback in a safe learning environment.

This course is suitable for those working in health and social care settings, who have completed a foundation level training such as Sage & Thyme Communication Skills/e-ELCA modules etc.

If there are no places available, due to high demand, please do contact us on [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your booking.

If you work within any of the following organisations you may be able to access funded places
