Our blended learning Advanced Communication Skills Training (ACST) for Midwives and Obstetricians course is specifically adapted from the award-winning Advanced Communication Skills Training to meet the needs of professionals working in Midwifery and Obstetrics.

The course content is tailored to address the unique communication challenges and responsibilities inherent to these roles.

Collaborative Learning Environment: Delegates are encouraged to openly share the specific challenges they encounter in their roles. Drawing on delegates' experiences and expertise fosters a conversation grounded in midwifery and obstetrics. This allows delegates to address personally relevant communication challenges and supports deeper engagement with the course.

Role-Play with Real-World Relevance: The workshop role-plays are designed with realistic and relevant scenarios.

Skills Development: The course provides delegates with practical strategies to address communication challenges with relatives, patients, and within teams in a purposeful and effective manner. It develops delegates' abilities to deliver constructive feedback and consider team dynamics.
